The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory. God has called some to be the watchman on the walls of their churches, ministry, cities, and some called to be watchmen over nations. Jeremiah and Isaiah were called to be watchmen over Israel. So this is not something that is limited to a few people, but every believer should be trained in, and all should be engaged in the watch to some degree.
